Super Lawyers Identification & Selection Process
Each year Super Lawyers selects attorneys from law firms of all sizes across 50 different practice areas throughout the U.S. The selection process is conducted by the Super Lawyers lawyer rating service and is sectioned by individual state.
The multiphase selection process begins with a round of peer nominations to generate an initial pool of candidates who have been observed first hand by their peers. Super Lawyers also conducts its own research to identify lawyers with considerable achievements and proven experience. The nominees are then evaluated on twelve indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.

With the initial candidate pool and Super Lawyers own research complete the evaluation process moves to phase three where a panel of the consisting of the highest point total lawyers from steps one and two of the process evaluate the candidate pool. The panelists from their practice areas rank each candidate on a scale of one to five.
The candidate pool has now been fully evaluated and are grouped based on firm size. Each lawyer is ranked against lawyers from similar size law firms ensuring the top lawyers from firms both small and large firms are represented.
Only attorneys that score in the top 5% of all nominees end up being recognized by Super lawyers.
Litigation and General Counsel Experience
Super Lawyers is just the latest organization to recognize Landon Bailey’s impressive litigation and legal consulting success. While at UCLA School of Law, Landon was awarded first prize in the Nathan Burkan Memorial Competition for intellectual property scholarship. Landon has also been named as a Lawyer Representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference, served as President of the Federal Bar Association’s Sacramento chapter, is a long-standing member of the prestigious Anthony M. Kennedy Inn of Court, and has served on the Judicial Advisory Committee board for the United States District Court, Eastern District of California.
Landon is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, all four U.S. District Courts in California, and trial and appellate Courts throughout California.

Landon also has assisted clients in registering trademarks and copyrights, and provides sound practical advice on strategic aspects of developing an intellectual property portfolio.
